  • Machined from a solid block of 7075 Aluminum
  • Integrated Trigger Guard
  • Rear takedown pin detent hole is threaded for a 5/40 set screw to capture the take down detent spring
  • Flared Magwell
  • Designed to work exclusively with Magpul MOE PMAGs. Other AK pattern magazines may work but we cannot guarantee comparability due to the wide variation of magazines available.

NOTE: BRS47 Lower receivers will NOT function with Mil-Spec upper receivers as the AK47 magazine will interfere with the upper receiver. To build a BRS47, you will need to use the BRS47 Upper Receiver as it is manufactured to accept the larger AK47 Magazine width.

BRS47 Lowers and uppers also require the use of the BRS47 Bolt Carrier Group. Mil-Spec carriers with a 7.62x39 bolt will NOT work. The Billet Rifle Systems BRS47 BCG is designed and manufactured to work specifically with AK47 magazines.

I have a CMMG Banshee. This shoots softer and is much lighter.  I ran a adjustable gas block and a muzzle brake and it recoils like a .22. I’m super impressed! Tim Foster ( I think he might be the owner) answered all my questions in a promptly manner and even painted a handguard for me fir no extra charge because the order took a couple weeks longer.  I’m definitely going to build another BRS47 when I can find a 7.5 barrel

Reviewer: Killed the Mutant from Ashton, IL.  
After sitting on this for about 2 years I finally got around to putting it together. It's been amazing so far. It shoots Tula all day out of a pmag. I thought I would get fancy and buy some circle 10s, but it didnt like those. I ended up with a lot of feed issues. So stay with the magpuls. They have worked flawlessly. Everybody at the club was very impressed including one very butthurt mutant owner. Thanks guys. My first build was a complete success.
